The celebrated American author, Ernest Hemingway use to live in our area and was primarily an upland bird hunter. I have heard he fished this creek, whether or not, EH did spend a lot of time in this area. His son Jack was the real fisherman.  My family use to own Hemingway’s fishing guide’s cabin.Trail Creek runs through the remote mountains of central Idaho and into Sun Valley where Hemmingway lived part time. I enjoy visiting this area especially during the transitional times of day when the light is so magnificent.
