I toted this large canvas on the back of a 4-wheeler and painted it while in the back-country of the Big Lost mountains in central Idaho. We had a close encounter with a black bear! You can watch the video. I took the canvas back into my studio and finished it there.

High Country Cattle was partially painted outside in the wild backcountry of the Big Lost Mountains in Idaho. I had to carry this large canvas on the back of a four-wheeler and even dodged a black bear while in the remote mountains. I then finished the painting in my studio.
