Along the Madison – Yellowstone Bison
40×30
oil on board
Yellowstone is one of my favorite spots to visit each year. A few years ago, it rained during my trip. The animals love the rain and the tourists do not! This made for a wonderful trip. It was such a beautiful day with all the fog, clouds and rainy mist. The animals enjoys the freshness of the day and I took lots of pictures. I finally painted this scene of bison who were happily grazing along the famous Madison River.

Love your painting, Lori. Great work.
Thank you Gary. Your nice feedback means a lot. Thanks for stopping by.

I love the idea. The bison’s who turn to go grazing at a more fertile place ahead. I see they seem to wait on the 3th bison to catch up with them and while they waiting they take time to graze. It’s a delicious picture Which focuses us upon and reminds us of what we leave behind when we graze to much of natures beauty without looking back. Very inspiring.
Also very hopeful picture however the hope is hiding in the small romantic details.
I’m referring to another post that helped me out and made me admire your outside of the picture artistic talents.
Good Job. Very lovely. My regards.
